Pop up box card

hey peeps..
Here I am with a new card I have made.. I have seen this card a lot lately and fell in love with it. I so wanted to make one and now that the valentines is around the corner I thought it would be a great gift. IT is my favorite fold as I really love the way it unfolds into a pop up box and has an surprise element for receiver.
So I am celebrating love and valentines day with this card.

three step card

hey friends,
Happy new year.. I know it's late but better late than never.. I hope all of you are keeping up with your new year resolutions. I also have one resolution that is to blog more often and make more of cards and try different techniques. So here I am with a new card I have just made up. I generally do not make cards often so I am not good at making cards.
This is a fancy fold card called "three step card".

Details:
I have used papers from a DCWV stack. I have used Ek success scroll punch to make the background of front panel of the card and I am loving how it is looking. The I L U alphas are glitter alphas which I got from local stationary shop. the sentiment is a stamp I got from Joann's store don't know the brand.
The red daisies one the front panel are punch outs from jef punches. (used two sizes)
I have used MS border punch on inner panels and decorated them with pearls.
the cute birdies are a whimsy stamp colored with distress inks. I sooo love these cuties...
